👤 About me

I’m passionate about building sustainable and impactful communities around the country. Having volunteered, ventured, and then professionally worked in building, scaling, and creating engaging and country-wide communities for 3+ years, I’ve realised the importance of like-minded finding their space and the impact they can make when given that space. I love bringing people together and enjoy bringing meaning to that more. I also enjoy traveling, meeting new people (goes without saying), dancing, reading, and keeping myself mindlessly occupied on the weekends. I’m also a certified yoga teacher (TTC 200) and love to indulge in my meditations and yoga as a lifestyle.

This is my space where I document my work, side projects, and everything that I’ve been up to.

Work Experience

1% Club

My latest gig was at 1% Club as a community manager where I managed 80k+ members - finance enthusiasts, professionals, & entreprenuers. I led community & online experiences here. Which means, everything from community engagement to retention to onboarding speakers for sessions was what I did. Did 150+ sessions/webinars with 40k+ members attending overall. Networked within & outside the community alike. Worked on a very fun networking AI tool, 1% Connect Bot, for the communit, launched it & successfully onboarded over 9000 members using it frequently to effectively network within the community.

I learned how to design, used Figma effectively to make all in-app banners for sessions and some for the 1% Club LinkedIn as well.

Collaborated with brands like The New Thing & The Builders Club.

Miduty I worked on building a community of 27k+ women (Wonder Woman) for Miduty. We educate, create awareness, and help these women over the age of 30 from a Tier 2/Tier 3 Indian city to learn, better understand the cause of their health issues, build self-confidence, motivate them to get on their fitness journey, be financially independent, and so much more. The idea is to engage with them and teach them various tools through various online and offline activities, fitness challenges, workouts, diet plans, mental health/self-care, etc. every week with an in-house Health Expert and otherwise.

I successfully grew the community from 20k to 27k over the 3 months I was there and it was quite rewarding. I also worked & led multiple online campaigns (referral, lead gen strategy, etc.) to grow the community strategically with strong data insights.

91Springboard

I worked as a senior community manager at 91Springboard overseeing 50+ accounts and clients, my role was a dynamic blend of negotiation, empathy, and effective communication. I excelled at guiding clients through the end-to-end customer life cycle, ensuring their satisfaction and loyalty. Through strategic engagement and personalized support, I successfully minimized churn rates to less than 2% cultivating lasting relationships that benefit both clients and our organization. My commitment to understanding client needs and fostering collaboration has been instrumental in achieving these outcomes.

💻 Side Project - Safe Spaces

Safe Spaces, founded by me, is a nurturing community for young adults. It's a sanctuary where individuals can openly share their mental health challenges without fear of judgment. Here, we foster belonging and support, empowering our peers to connect, share stories, and find solace in knowing they're not alone in their journey towards better mental well-being.
